New force of medical education

The Professional Committee of Medical Simulation Education, the first provincial association in China, was formally established

From the current situation of medical education, it can be seen that the clinical ability training mode aiming at improving patient safety has become the general trend of medical education. Under this background, medical personnel training strategy is deepened continuously, the technology of modern medical education is innovated continuously, and   medical simulated education becomes the new direction in medical education in our country.

In order to further expand the influence of medical simulation education, the "Establishment Conference of Medical Simulation Education Professional Committee of Guangdong Medical Education Association and Guangdong International Medical Simulation Education Summit Forum" was held in Guangzhou on March 4, 2017, and was organized by the Clinical Skills Center of Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University. This marks the formal establishment of the medical Simulation Education Professional Committee of China's first provincial association.

Since the establishment of the Professional Committee of Medical Simulation Education of Guangdong Medical Education Association, 86 teaching hospitals from 21 prefecture-level cities and 144 experts and scholars of medical simulation education have actively participated in it. With the assistance and support of various parties, the preparation for the committee of Medical Simulation Education of Guangdong Medical Education Association was quickly completed, and the establishment meeting was officially held on March 4th. The conference elected Tian Jing, director of the Clinical Skills Center of Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University, as the first chairman of the Medical Simulation Education Committee of Guangdong Medical Education Association (hereinafter referred to as the committee) by secret ballot, and elected 8 vice chairmen and 28 standing members.

The members of the special committee have reached a consensus that in the future, they will fulfill their responsibilities, formulate work plans, actively engage in the development of medical simulation education, organize and carry out medical simulation education and training in various regions of the province on a regular basis, and take it as their responsibility to improve the clinical skill level of medical staff in Guangdong Province and jointly promote the work of medical simulation education in Guangdong Province!

The establishment of the Professional Committee of medical simulated Education of the Guangdong Provincial Medical Education Association is an important step of the development of domestic simulated education. Not only has it laid a solid foundation for the future medical simulated education and training, but also has promoted the sound development of medical simulated education and improved the influence of the country and the international.
