The 3rd Pearl River Medical Simulation Education International Forum

In March, the spring of Yangcheng warmed, and kapok was full of flowers. In order to implement the development strategy of "Healthy China", and to deepen the cooperation between medicine and education, explore the medical simulation education, promote the innovation and development of medical education, and promote the reform of medical excellence training, the third Zhujiang International Forum on Medical Simulation Education and the 2019 Academic Annual Meeting of the Professional Committee of Medical Simulation Education of Guangdong Medical Education Association were held in Guangzhou from March 8 to March 10, 2019.

Medical simulation education is the development trend of medical education in the future. This conference invited more than 80 top experts in the field of medical simulation education at home and abroad, and set up 1 theme summit, 2 competitions, 9 sub-forums and 34 interactive teaching workshops. And added a number of high-quality courses before and after the conference with rich content, and with the theme of "innovative development, win-win cooperation", it had a wonderful sharing on how to build a medical simulation center, cultivate simulation teaching teachers, create standardized and homogeneous training courses and assessment standards, and how to develop rigorous and innovative simulation education and scientific research projects.

The conference has comprehensive and colorful contents, innovative organizational forms, practical and grounded contents, and is generally suitable for medical education and clinical medical personnel. It has attracted 1094 representatives from 280 units (175 in the province and 105 outside the province) from 23 provinces, 5 autonomous regions and 4 municipalities directly under the Central Government. It is an influential and large-scale high-end academic forum for medical simulation education in the country.

Medical Simulation Education Competition

The teaching plan is the core of the simulation class, and Debriefing is the soul of the simulation teaching. This conference effectively demonstrated the new teaching method of the simulation scene teaching course in the form of competition, so that everyone can understand the concept and skills of the medical simulation teaching more deeply. On the basis of continuing the excellence of the last medical simulation scenario classroom teaching plan design competition, this conference held the first national medical simulation scenario classroom guiding feedback competition, with a very warm response. After fierce competition, Qian Dandan, a teacher from the clinical skills center of our hospital, won the first prize in the Debriefing competition, demonstrating our simulated teaching strength.

Nine theme forums

Center director/resident training/special training/general practice/severe illness/ Obstetrics and Pediatrics/Nursing/information construction/scientific research

During the meeting, nine thematic forums were held at the same time, including policy interpretation, achievement sharing and experience exchange from the construction and management of the medical simulation center, the establishment of the resident/specialist/general practitioner training system, the construction of the specialized curriculum system of obstetrics and pediatrics/emergency critical care/nursing, the informatization construction of the medical simulation center, and the design and implementation of the medical simulation research project, to explore a demand-oriented The path of medical simulation education based on talent training and with clinical medical safety and quality improvement as the ultimate goal provides talent guarantee for healthy China.

34 special workshops

The conference set up a total of 34 workshops with rich content and full venues. Among them, the "standardized process of chest pain and stroke center" workshop independently developed by our simulation teaching team (including our emergency department, cardiovascular medicine, neurosurgery, catheter intervention room and clinical skills center) is the first one in China to use high-end intervention simulation as a medium to display chest pain Practical workshop on the optimal process of identification, transportation and treatment of stroke patients. Focusing on the hot spots of medical technology and creating high-quality simulation training with multi-disciplinary integration is the development direction of medical education in the future, and is also a powerful means to help healthy China.

Finally, this meeting coincided with the "March 8th" Women's Day.
