the Top-Level Deign International Symposium was successfully held in Guangzhou

2020 is a special year as COVID-19 has raged around the world . Benefiting from doing well in epidemic prevention and control measures, the 4th Zhujiang International Forum on Healthcare Simulation Education ,Top-Level Deign International Symposium was successfully held in Guangzhou Cavan Hotel from September 19 to 20, 2020.This symposium was hosted by Guangdong Medical Education Association and co-hosted by Postgraduate and Continuing Medical Education Committee of China Medicine. Education Association and Zhujiang Hospital of the Southern Medical University. It was also organized by the Medical Simulation Education Committee of Guangdong Medical Education Association, the Standardized Resident Training Management Committee of Guangdong Medical Education Association and the Clinical Skills Training Center of Zhujiang Hospital of the Southern Medical University.

The Symposium was informative, covering 1 conference, 1 teaching competition, 4 thematic forums, 15 interactive teaching workshops. With the theme of " innovative development and win-win cooperation ", it invited more than 40 experts in medical simulation education and residency training management at home and abroad, attracting more than 300 representatives from 11 provinces, 1 autonomous region, 2 municipalities directly under the central government, 93 units ( 48 units of the Guangdong province and 45 out of the Guangdong province ). Several experts shared experiences about how to build a medical simulation center, provide standardized courses for training of residents, carry out innovative simulation education researches and so on. All participants benefited a lot.

Professor Sabrina Koh from SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Medica Simulation,made a speech about Manifesto for healthcare simulation practice.

Prof. Feng Tianyuan, the resident of Pingshan General Hospital of Southern Medical University, made a speech about Hierarchical Curriculum Design and Construction of Resident Standardized Training

Professor Jiang Guanchao from Peking University People 's Hospital, made a speech about Medical Simulation Education and Specialists   Training.

Tian Jing,the director of the Clinical Skills Center in Zhujiang Hospital, Southern Medical University, shared his thoughts on the construction and development of medical simulation center.

Day 2：15 interactive teaching workshops.

Since held in 2017, this Symposium has played an essential role in promoting the development of domestic medical simulation , strengthening collaboration and communication of medical education industry. Under the new era of coordinated development of medical education and research, we will constantly integrate high-quality medical resources and management experiences, improve the clinical skills training level and service ability of medical institutions, promote the construction of talent team for simulated medical education, and actively push forward a world-class simulation medical education platform with Chinese characteristics.
