“Exquisite Doctor Cup” -- Lesson Design Competition in Medical Simulation Classroom

Medical simulation situational teaching is one of the efficient simulation teaching methods, which can create clinical scenarios by simulating the diagnosis and treatment process to help students acquire knowledge and improve ability. With the vigorous development of medical simulation education in China, medical simulation centers have been established at various municipalities. Many excellent teachers have accumulated rich classroom experience in intensive simulation teaching practice.

In order to better exchange medical simulation teaching experience and academic knowledge in various regions, this conference will hold Lesson Design Competition in Medical Simulation Classroom. The competition will include teaching plan design and debriefing (further details in entry requirements), which will be conducted in the form of on-site report and teaching display. Professionals engaged in medical simulation education are welcome to contribute, and the relevant matters of soliciting contributions are hereby notified as follows

Solicit contributions--Entrants

Domestic medical teaching managers, medical educators, clinical or nursing teachers, clinicians and clinical nurses.


Competition goal

Adhere to the theme of promoting the high-quality development of medical simulation education, the competition fully mobilize the majority of medical simulation education teachers to actively innovate design and effectively reflect situational simulation teaching, and comprehensively promote the full-chain reform of undergraduate -- resident-- specialty -- general medical simulation education. At the same time, we will give full play to the leading role of the competition, and carefully build a demonstration and exchange platform for the teaching benchmarking of medical simulation education.


Competition Selection requirements

Profile of contributors (including relevant experience in medical simulation education, such as medical simulation duration, lessons frequency, etc.)

Requirements for manuscripts: The teaching content has not been displayed in other public meetings and competitions. It shall be prepared by project number of teaching title, teaching object, teaching theme, teaching objectives, teaching time and process arrangement, scene setting, scenario script, article preparation, simulation preparation and parameter, key points of Debriefing or questions to be asked, etc.


Competition rules

The competition is divided into the first half and the second half: the first half is the teaching design report, and the second half is the Debriefing presentation;

Number of finalists: 10 will be selected by the competition judges to participate in the on-site competition according to the submitted teaching plan;
