Rescue Around -- Situational Nursing Case Competition in Clinical Emergency Identification Treatment

Clinical emergency identification treatment refer to sudden and critical situations occurring in hospitals and hospital areas, which need to be identified and handled according to the corresponding plan process. It is very important for nursing staff to strengthen the training on the identification and handling of relevant clinical critical events in their daily drills. The medical simulation scenario creates clinical scenarios and implements the simulation diagnosis and treatment process, and simulates such emergencies, which can effectively test the ability of nursing staff. In order to strengthen the sharing of experience and academic interaction in the simulation teaching of nursing medicine in various regions, this conference will hold a simulation contest for the identification and treatment of clinical critical events and nursing situation cases, which will show the teaching design and comprehensive ability of clinical critical events in the form of competition, and promote the innovative development of nursing simulation teaching. Professionals engaged in nursing medicine simulation education are welcome to sign up, and the relevant matters of the competition are notified as follows:

Selection requirements

Entrants shall submit

① an application form;

② A teaching design for the identification and treatment of clinical critical events ( the content haven’t shown in other public meetings and competitions).

Competition rules

10 contestants are selected to participate in the on-site competition according to the submitted application materials.

The competition is divided into the first half and the second half:

The first half is teaching design report competition, and the finalists made a five-minute PPT presentation according to the submitted teaching plan;

In the second half, the contestants draw lots from 3-4 cases adapted by the organizer, and form a team with 1-2 standardized nursing staff to conduct scene practical simulation combat for the selected cases. The duration of each group is not more than 8 minutes.
